Skyrocket Your Happiness: How to Make ALL Your Dreams Come True

Do you ever worry that the dreams you have for yourself might not come true?

That they’re too big or too small…or maybe that they’re not important enough….That it’s too late or you’re too old…or that there’s just something innately wrong with you…

We’ve all worried about some version of at least one of these before BUT there’s good news.

As long as you’re focusing on what you want for yourself from this moment forward, anything you want truly is possible.

The first step is to get clear on all of the BIG dreams that you have.

Your big dreams may be of being the first tourist on the moon, curing the common cold or bringing the Spice Girls back.

Or your big dreams may be of learning how to make a great Pad Thai, raising money for the Alzheimer’s Association or spending more time with your family.

What makes your dreams BIG is that they’re important to you!

It’s not the size or the scale or the impact. It’s the things that will make your life feel happy and meaningful. And that looks a little differently for everyone.

Today, write down your big dream list.

This is a list of all the things that you’re looking forward to—whether it be next week or next year. It’s your hopes and dreams…your wishes and your wants.

It’s anything and everything that you want to experience in your life.

It’s things that are already in the works…and things that you hope to have happen some day.

You put the them all on one big dream list so that you can see they’re all in the same realm of possibility.

Then you post that list up somewhere you’ll see it every day (like on your fridge, vision board or bathroom mirror).

Here are some of mine:

  • Start a garden.
  • Finish my first children’s book.
  • Binge watch Dead to Me on Netflix.
  • Family night out at the drive in.
  • Launch my podcast.
  • Celebrate my 20th wedding anniversary in Hawaii.
  • Travel to watch my kiddo play baseball.
  • Write a second personal development boo.

Whatever is on your list, know that they’re all part of your vision—so they’re all equally important, equally valuable, and equally possible.

This exercise will help you to see that what you want is possible, and it’ll help you to keep tracking forward (vs. getting stuck in/overly focused on the past).

In the comments below, let me know one of your big dreams that you’re most excited about—remember what makes your dreams big is that they’re important to you, so be sure to put all of the things on your list!
