I was at Whole Foods and I had the thought “it must be lucky to drink fresh coconut water in the new year” so I bought one…and pomegranates make a regular appearance in our house this time of year. I was so excited to enjoy this smoothie and while it wasn’t pretty (red pomegranates and green greens not the best color combo), it was fun to make and super delicious. Mark loved opening the coconut (we’ve been delighting in the simple pleasures with all this relaxation time on our hands!)
- Fresh coconut water
- 1 extra large handful of organic power greens mix from Costco or organic super greens
- 1 peeled orange
- 1 green apple
- 1 – 1 1/2 frozen banana
- 1-2 cup pomegranate seeds
Blend and enjoy!
