Infertility Meditation

As National Infertility Awareness Week comes to a close, I wanted to leave you with something to remind you that you are not alone. This meditation will guide you through the long, painful journey of struggling to conceive and at the very least – give you peace of mind and a way to destress. But I really believe that it will do SO much more for you than that.

Even though NIAW may be over, that does not mean the conversation has to come to an end! Continue to talk to your loved ones about your struggles, or be there for a friend who is struggling. We need to normalize infertility and be able to talk about it openly, without shame or judgement. The more we talk, the more awareness we bring to this issue.

I used the meditation below before bed each night – but you can use it any time during the day. Maybe you feel overwhelmed when you first wake up in the morning, or after a particularly difficult doctor’s appointment. Print these cards out and carry them with you wherever you go. You never know when you might need a moment to pause, reflect and thank your body for all it’s done for you so far, and all it will continue to do!
